Talisman Loop Sconce

Talisman Loop Sconce consists of a strict arrangement of semi-precious stones and recalls fine details found on statues at the ancient city Persepolis. Agate, Jasper, or Jade beads are pierced by finely fluted pins, affixing them to a leather-bound brass structure.

Apparatus is a New York-based interdisciplinary design studio that explores the relationship of lighting, furniture, and objects in their environments. Predicated on the modernist principle of Gesamtkunstwerk, or total work of art, fully articulated collections reveal individual pieces as artifacts of a holistic world - each referencing the historical and cultural mood summoned by a singular vision.

Materials

Armature in waxed aged brass with agate beads and details in leather. Available in three colorways: Ahnar Pomegranate, Sepideh Dawn and Bahar Spring.
