Carpet from Asplund, designed by By Maria Håård. This rug from Asplund is hand tufted and with a hand cut pattern. Hand tufting is a traditional method, which requires a high level of craftsmanship and the rug is entirely made by hand. Asplund's rugs are made of a high quality New Zealand wool, rich in natural fats that give the rug a natural lustre while also providing good protection against stains.

Notable

Hand tufted rugs shall always be cleaned by a professional carpet cleaner. Dry cleaning and other chemical treatments can ruin the back of the rug and change the colors.
Remove stains instant by using a damp lukewarm natural cloth with a tiny bit of wooden soap water preferably the yellow kind to avoid bleed. Tamp the stain until the stain is gone. Rinse and finish off with a clean damp cloth. Blow dry the wet spot with a hairdryer (minimum 30 cm away from the pile).
